BROWSER WAR

Don't you think? Your PC is playing role of an arena. Where wrestlers are fighting with each other and you are confused to decide the winner. Every one is showing his strength, some one is powerful in defense while other is in attack while one is showing average skills in all the fighting techniques.

Now you don't get confused what I am talking about and how your PC becomes an arena. Yes you must be on right track. Here we are discussing war of browsers. Various internet browsers are now constantly attacking on your PC and everyone is saying I am the best. Install me now. I am free, etc. Net savvy like us, being greedy installing every new upcoming free browser on our PC and using it without knowing our exact needs of internet surfing. Craze of installing new browsers is mostly seen among youths who are excited of trying newer stuffs.

Yes, we all know world has become online. New generation is unaware about post cards and letters, even web messengers have lessen down the use of telephones for long distance. Then how these browser companies will sit idle? Recently Google has made intention of internet users towards it first ever browser - Chrome and everyone jumped on it. Some liked it and some found limitations. Same scenario happened with previous launched variety of browsers. People are still finding right browser for their machines and will be doing this in future too.

In fact war started some years ago when Netscape launched its Navigator in 1994 and soon Microsoft launched its Internet Explorer in 1995. Though some browsers were there already in existence at that time but because of these two giant IT wrestlers, war actually started followed by many controversies. Since then internet users became victims of such browsers' impact. As the world was gradually being dominated by internet, users had no other option to use such browsers for their daily activities. By the time, Microsoft's Windows was ruling every machine in the world so browser makers made their product to work fine on Windows. This really made crowd on internet as every browser firm was marketing its product and Windows was the only home. This made people more confused about using exact and perfect browser for their machines and needs. So, since 1994 we are facing bombardment of newer and newer browser every now and then. We can hear many popular browsers like Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Avant, Apple Safari, and Google Chrome ruling the internet proportionately. And certainly this fight is going to be there for many years in future.

So finally coming to our need and choosing the right browser. The simple way to choose a good and efficient browser is to review the forums and blogs available on the internet and looking to everyone's opinions. Many forums are available there on internet. By choosing right topic on forum based on which operating system you are using we can decide which browser to use. Also some informative websites like wikipedia.org has brief details of various browsers and their comparisons. And then also if you fail to find right one, better way is to approach an IT expert who will help you to find efficient browser for you, looking to your hardware specifications, operating system, needs, security, time etc. One day surely you will get success to overcome from this unreal war reigning internet world.

FAILURE OF RESERVATION SYSTEM IN INDIA

Reservation should not be based on caste, creed, religion etc. Where reservation is based on this caste and religion, people hate each other. Discrimination is created/stimulated. Even people fight among themselves, resulting in sabotage due to riots or agitation of public or people. There is a great stigma to the State, Nation where reservation system exists in Education, Jobs, Politics etc. There should be only one caste, creed, religion and it is "Human Being".

Due to this reservation system, merit rank holders, even distinction holders do not get admission in the Educational Institutions, do not get job in the private, public, government sector and do not get Election ticket for ward/constituency and so on. As a result of the reservation system, a man/woman becomes the enemy of a man/woman. A friend becomes the enemy of a friend.

The importance of the principle "Freedom, Equality, Fraternity (Brotherhood)" awarded by the constitution stands null and void. All are equal before the law. If this is so, then why this discrimination? The class/groups of the people belonging to reserved category are playing in lacks of rupees, even in crores of rupees. They are living in flats/bungalows and wandering in cars. But on the other hand the class/group of people belonging to General/Open category can not purchase a bike too, because they are poor. Most of them can not get even one time meal. They can not take admission into Educational Institution. They can not get job, because they are poor (Economically Backward Class (EBC)) and no any facility/provision exists for them. There should be reservation for Economically Backward Class (EBC). This reservation shall be open for all categories i.e. SC, ST, GEN, OBC, NT etc.

Reservation should be given to Economically Weaker Section or Economically Backward Class (EBC) to bring them in the main flow of the Nation's progress. If this is implemented, there will be no need for maintaining the records for SC, ST, GEN, OBC, NT etc. categories because the main purpose of poor society's development will be achieved and the slogan of "Gareebi Hatao" will also be achieved.

There should be equal rights and facilities to all human beings/people. The principle of the law regarding "creamy layer" which is applicable to O.B.C. community at present should also be applicable to SC, ST, NT, VJNT communities, as there are rich/very rich families in these communities.

Therefore, it is requested and suggested to the all concerned authorities to abolish the present defective Reservation System and Law to be amended as to see that the reservation should be there only for Economical Weaker Section as said even by Late Pandit Nehru, Ex. Prime Minister of India in his letter sent to all Chief Ministers on June 27, 1961. (Ref: Indian Express, 17-08-1990. Hyderabad Edition)
